Meet Matthew Podoll
Matthew Podoll proudly
serves as the Senior Instructor and Senior Compliance Specialist with the Wisconsin
Emergency Services Training Center (WI-ESTC), an Emergency Services Training
Center that provides occupational safety and health training for private
industry and emergency service teams.
His expertise spans more
than 17 years of experience in the occupational safety and health industry,
including explosive blasting and power boiler cleaning his entire career, seven
years in safety, and five years in office management for a nonprofit.
As the Senior
Instructor and Compliance Specialist, Matthew is responsible for bridging the
gap between laws, regulations, and standards with the real-life challenges of
the physical world. His mission is to provide the highest possible level of
training for individuals and departments within the organization that is based on
industry standards established by governing bodies like NFPA, OSHA, and ANSI, which
is relevant to the challenges faced by modern-day responders.
Matthew fulfills his
charge primarily for general industry, construction, agriculture, first aid,
CPR and AED policy and training development for his clients. And he’s proud to
say that his efforts help people go home to their families unharmed at the end
of each day.
He consistently
delivers world-class service to stakeholders due to hard work, his commitment
to staff management, strong relationship building, and communication skills
that provide superior training experiences with integrity, even if that means
doing what’s right when no one else does.
Saving lives isn’t just
a job for Matthew, it’s a responsibility that he accepts with pride and the utmost
dedication. Because when he’s successful, it means spouses remain united with
their loved ones, children grow up with their mothers and fathers, and parents
are there to guide and nurture their families to adulthood. For him, no other
work brings greater rewards.
Matthew Podoll was born and raised in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. He’s a
certified American Heart Association Instructor, American Red Cross Instructor,
and a former Authorized OSHA Outreach Instructor.
When Matthew isn’t busy with his many responsibilities, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and camping with his family.
He also gives back to his community as a first responder for his local
volunteer fire department.
